Last weekend the Northreach Pack & friends completed a 3-mile beach clean in Southend-On-Sea for Surfers Against Sewage and it was wonderful to see that Sam’s little ones really enjoyed it. Ruby and Jacob were extremely involved in making our planet a better, greener and cleaner place for future generations! 😊👏🏻

GIFTS4KIDS
We came up with the idea to organise a local campaign to raise funds for Christmas gifts for the children who are unfortunate enough to be spending Christmas in Basildon Hospital.

This is the fourth edition of Gifts4kids an initiative we take great pride in. The previous three editions of Gifts4kids have raised over £7500 for Polly Parrot Children’s Appeal – Mid and South Essex Hospital’s Charity. In this year’s campaign, our team took the bar a notch higher, raising over £2600, the most donations we’ve ever received for a Gifts4Kids campaign. All of the money raised went toward buying presents for children at the Basildon hospital, with the rest going to charity to cover the costs of any other needs.

Every penny we achieved over this was donated to the Polly Parrot Charity to help cover the costs of anything else that needs a financial support – cover the running costs of Polly’s Pad or help to invest in interactive floor system in children’s emergency.

As every year, our bunch at Northreach came up with another Christmas campaign to help our community and have some fun! So, this time we are running a FREE fun competition to win a £300 Selfridges Hamper to help raise awareness and money for the local SNAP Charity. 🤗

50K HIKE FOR SNAP
On August 10th, 25 of my colleagues, friends and family, will be completing the 50k Bronze Challenge, hiking in the Peak District. The people at SNAP have supported over 5000 families who have children with mental illness and disabilities all across Essex and beyond. It’s a powerful cause and one we are proud to be sponsoring.

24H GAMING CHALLENGE
4 intrepid souls from the Northreach Recruitment team are giving up 24 hours of their time to raise money for The Stuart Feakins Trust. They will embark on an energy-sapping 24 hours of online gaming NON STOP – except for the call of nature. You will be able to follow their progress online and watch their eyes sink deep into sockets – should be entertaining!
