UX Designer (Chatham, Kent / Remote)

We’re working with a rapidly growing FinTech who’re looking or a UX Designer to join an innovate creative team on a permanent basis.

As the UX Designer, your role will be to guarantee that our customers have a top-notch experience across all digital channels. This will require collaboration with the UX & Digital Design Team, part of the newly-formed Digital Transformation Team, and various business stakeholders. Your primary focus will be to design, develop, test, and launch digital experiences that assist our customers in comprehending and handling their accounts.

• Collaborating with designers and product owners to create and enhance design processes to ensure exceptional experiences and improved products
• Collaborating with the UX Researcher and customers to develop a deeper understanding of who our customers are and their needs
• Working within our Financial Regulatory framework and serving as a customer advocate, prioritizing their needs at every step
• Utilizing rapid prototyping to evaluate the usability of designs and interactions, responsible for rapid iteration and supporting excellent design
• Utilizing tools like Figma, Zeplin, Framer, Principle, or similar to deliver low and high-fidelity prototypes and designs
• Working with our design team to challenge the organization’s current ways of thinking, demonstrating the effectiveness of customer-centric design thinking
• Working with the Digital Team and key stakeholders (Customer, Brand, and Product teams) to comprehend the requirements and desires of our customers
• Collaborating with commercial, customer, operations, and technical colleagues to create and construct interactive prototypes to enhance the overall user experience
• The ability to express design decisions to the organization and empathize with their feedback

• Demonstrable experience in UX and UI design for digital projects.
• Creativity, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for working in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work well in a team and be part of an energetic team.
• Will report to the UX and Digital Design lead and receive support as needed from a Senior UX designer.
