Northreach are working with an innovative retail consumer lender based in Bradford, that specialises in sub-prime lending to support the community, under a wider banking group.

This client is seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst to support the wider Treasury Finance team with Prudential reporting of capital, liquidity and market risk to the PRA, FCA and the Bank of England. This includes the preparation of the wider group reporting, including Pillar 3 disclosures, the ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare the monthly LCR and PRA110 reports, sourcing the required information for input into systems
  • Prepare quarterly COREP and FINREP submissions, sourcing required information for input into systems
  • Utilising technical knowledge and experience to analyse movements between reporting dates
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for Bank of England or PRA as required, to be reviewed by management
  • Support the preparation of the wider banking groups consolidated Pillar 3 disclosures
  • Support the annual ICAAP and ILAAP processes
  • Prepare the reporting of regulatory measures for the Group Treasury Committee and any other internal forums
  • Contribute to the improvement of controls and processes around regulatory reporting preparation
  • Collaborate with the Manager Treasury Business Partner and other SMEs within the wider group to identify the impact of prudential regulatory changes, advising Management to support the businesses adaptation as required
  • Provide analysis of regulatory implications from any changes in product mix or balance sheet structure
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements
  • Establish strong working relationships with Senior Management, stakeholders and external advisers.
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR (E – Essential P – Preferred)
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • 2-3 years practical experience of the COREP, FINREP and other PRA prudential regulatory reporting requirements (relating to capital and liquidity)
  • Previous exposure to ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP and other prudential matters
  • Able to work independently to deliver results against deadlines
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills to all levels
  • Able to influence and constructively challenge management & stakeholders
  • Highly organised, able to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter with the passion to “get things done”
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively with all levels

This is a hybrid position, you will be required to work in the office 3 days per week.
