or submit your CV belowOut client, a modern and innovative digital bank based in Central London, are looking to recruit a motivated and energetic Payments & FX Product Manager to provide oversight and management of the current product line and development of payments products as the organisation grows and transforms.
This is a new role to the organisation, and as Payments & FX Product Manager, you will be an influential member of the new Transactional Banking department. You will define, develop and deliver on the payments product line within the banks transformation strategy to maximise on the banks product potential.
This role will work on a hybrid working pattern – working onsite in the London office for 3 days per week.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create customer focussed products that support the banks ambitions to provide best class services
- Collaborate closely with the Operations, Treasury, Finance and IT transformation teams
- Hold accountability for all UK Banking Payments & FX products, domestic and international
- Payments product development and integration
- Identify, define and shape growth opportunities
- Partnerships and proposition management
- Strategic business planning in-line with the banks transformation
- Product P&L (Profit & Loss) ownership, delivery and reporting
- Analysis of customer success and satisfaction
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR (E – Essential P – Preferred)
- Proven experience in payments within UK Banking/Financial Services
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks relating to payments (Bacs, CHAPs & FX)
- Demonstrated experience of owning a product line and product development
- Strong understanding of P&L, finance, treasury and commercial drivers
- Confident in transformation planning & road-mapping on product delivery
- Stakeholder management
- Adaptable approach, able to work within change environments
- Strong communicator, able to collaborate with all departments and all levels
- Motivated, “hungry” and self-driven approach, always looking to better services and product delivery
- Third party vendor/partnerships from identification to implementation (desirable)
- Experience working within small, change driven environments (desirable)
- Experience with open banking/APIs (desirable)
