My Client, a growing and exciting Biotech firm in London is currently looking for a Human Resources Business partner to partenr with thier Leadership team. We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working within the Biotech field.

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for coaching, guiding and supporting line managers and ensuring the effective delivery of the people strategy. You will be joining a highly collaborative and supportive HR team who are on a journey to embed a strategic people function within the business. The successful candidate will be required to be on site a minimum of three days per week at our office in White City.

  • Build strong relationships and be a trusted partner to line managers to support driving the business forward
  • Be a visible HR presence, promoting effective communication, and coaching and mentoring line management to deal effectively with ER issues including absence management, performance management, etc.
  • Support the VP of HR in fostering a positive employee proposition and workplace culture
  • HRIS; managing data integrity in our HiBob platform and enhancing automation of processes and reporting.
  • Engaging with external service providers – e.g. talent acquisition, payroll, benefits providers etc.
  • Supporting annual HR activities such as pay review and bonus
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Play a proactive role in the delivery of a responsive Human Resources provision, including support for ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Support the maintenance of all HR policies and procedures as required to reflect the changing workplace and legislative environment
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR (E – Essential P – Preferred)
  • Degree and CIPD qualified, or equivalent experience within HR roles
  • Industry experience within Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences / Biotechnology is essential
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and developments in the field
  • Ability to operate across all levels of the organisation with a strong teamwork ethos
  • A solutions focused approach with proven ability to support managers in identifying and resolving people related issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change with a personal growth mindset
