Graduate Analyst

Our client is a pensions and investments business located In Sussex. They are on a significant growth curve over the next 2 years moving into a new business area and improving their entire operational infrastructure and as such are looking to recruit an Investment Operations Analyst to join their Investment Operations Team.

The team is responsible for oversight of the success of the investment fund and management of associated partiers ensuring all data and pricing is correct and reporting on the fund activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience within Investment Management and begin their career.

• Daily review of fund pricing
• Analysis of trading positions
• Comparison of performance and benchmarking against index movements
• Monitoring of all 3rd party trading systems
• Exposure monitoring
• Risk Management
• Data quality and data management
• Reporting – Management of internal and external reports
• Adherence to company risk management policy

• Relevant Academic background. Ideally BsC or MsC in relevant field (mathematics, finance, economics etc)
• Good communication written and oral
• IT proficiency
• Experience managing data on Excel and VBA – Building macros and automating tasks
• Ability to work autonomously
• Problem solving
• Comfortable producing and delivering presentations internally and externally
