My client, a specialist device company specialising in cell and tissue culture incubators is currently looking for a talented sales professional to help build their presence in the Cell and Gene Therapy field. This is a home based role and preferrably cloe to the Yorskshire area but experienced professionals elsewhere will be strongly considered.
Purpose of role: To grow the sales of GMP capable workstations / isolators worldwide. To tap into the significant opportunity the cell and gene therapy space presents.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- An effective communicator, with a flair for explaining key information succinctly, especially in relation to regulatory requirements.
- Understand the cell and gene therapy industry.
- Experience of working in a GMP certified facility
- Experience of working on the commercial side of GMP i.e. supplying equipment to GMP facilities.
- Ability to build rapport and form strong working relations with colleagues, distributers, and customers.
- Proficient in general engineering principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional & efficient approach.
- Ability to prioritise own workload & be self-sufficient.
- Effective timekeeping and deadline. management.
- Proactive and flexible.
- Team orientated.
- Presentation skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel.
- Full driving license.
EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR (E – Essential P – Preferred)
- Ability to speak other languages. Responsibilities:
- Support the design and sales process of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) – compliant workstations
- Create and deliver customer presentations on our GMP product range and capabilities.
- Through effective relationship building and communication skills, develop a clear understanding of customer needs and marry this with our product range and capability – including communicating scientific and regulatory challenges as required.
- Suggest appropriate customisations and considerations to customers and R&D during product development.
- Drawing on scientific and engineering knowledge, write documentation / articles to support the marketing of GMP Workstations.
- Comprehend the scientific processes carried out by potential customers / existing customers, sufficient to recommend suggestions as to how our products can be used / adapted to support their work.
- Conduct product demonstrations for colleagues and customers
