From the humble beginnings.

The story starts in 2015, in Sam’s small home office. Sam joined forces with his business partner and brother Ben to make a brave move and go solo, starting their very own adventure to explore a fresh and personal touch to recruitment. They made a pact to work with people that wanted to invest in their recruitment journey and give real opportunities and expertise to individuals working as a professional in the UK.

The name Northreach stems from their Dad’s previous business “Northreach Paper”. Northreach Paper was a leading supplier of paper to top organisations and governments across Europe. We see the “North” part as a synonym for “moving up” or “heading in the right direction”, “climbing upwards” or a compass to provide direction. The North star is always the brightest in the sky, right?

Meet The Pack!

The people that come to Northreach HQ every day come because they love what they do. We work as a team, not as individuals with competing agendas; we support each other, and praise one another. Celebrate successes together. We encourage entrepreneurial spirit and trust our employees to do the right thing.

Our values:

The spirit of polar bear

From a simple arrow to a polar bear. We chose a polar bear because we realised it has many symbolic references that resonate massively to us and reflects our people and company ethos exactly.

DETERMINATION

These folks know how to pursue what they want, and they do it with power and purpose. They focus on their chosen path without getting distracted. The responsibility of providing for others brings them joy – it’s what makes them great providers.

PROTECTION

The polar bear spirit animal is strong on the idea of protecting those it cares about – its family. They always stick together and are consistent in their approach in order to create a sense of safety.

ADAPTATION

Polar bears are able to adapt in the harshest environments while facing the toughest of challenges. Excellent survival skills mean they can overcome any kind of obstacle. A polar bear will spend time researching, calculating and observing before they make a move.
